AN INTRODUCTION TO LINO PRINTING – Thursday 15th June 2023

A fascinatation with wild flowers and hedgerows has been the main inspiration for artist Clare Tebboth’s work.

An experienced artist, Clare has been teaching for many years and she loves sharing her techniques in her lively, informative workshops.

This special workshop has been developed to accompany her exhibition at Preston Bissett Nurseries as part of Bucks Art Weeks. It is suitable for beginners or those with more experience who want to learn this technique.

In this fun workshop artist and teacher Clare Tebboth will introduce you to the art of lino printing. This session will involve designing your own single colour lino plate. You will be taught to cut safely and accurately and you will then have a chance to explore ways to print from your lino. All materials wil be provided. Please bring an apron, reading glasses (if required) and newspaper or a tray/box to lay wet prints in for the journey home.

No previous experience necessary!

Meet at 10.15am for complimentary coffee and cake. The workshop commences at 10.30am with a light lunch at 1pm. If required we will take an additional coffee break. Once booked we will contact you closer the time to check your food requirements.
